When I was a kid, we had a desktop computer crammed next to the the furnace in a windowless basement room. I loved video games though, so I’d spend hours on that computer playing The Sims and Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Unfortunately, our ancient computer had trouble playing most games, and my family couldn’t afford better equipment.

I’d try everything under the sun to get my games to work. Usually, after hours of troubleshooting, endless frustration, and countless fixes, I’d have a small breakthrough: My game would finally work!

Those breakthroughs are where I discovered my love for tech.

Fast forward to today, and I’m blending that love for tech, my background as a middle school teacher, my experience as a web designer, and my love for the queer community into my own online business: Courage & Grow.

In the Courage & Grow Academy, I teach progressive entrepreneurs — you! — how to create simple, beautiful, and functional websites with minimal technical know-how.
